The Isle of Man Courier published a feature on the first edition of my consumer book on Thursday 22nd September 2016, which coincided with the General Elections that take place on the Island every 5 years.
The Isle of Man Courier has a readership circulation of over 36,000 around the Island and is a free paper that is delivered to all households. There is no longer an online link, although a friend of mine on the Island sent me a cutting as a keepsake.
I lived in the Isle of Man for nearly 20 years, hence why I chose to shine a spotlight on consumer rights and laws in England, Wales, Northern Ireland, Scotland and the Isle of Man as there are nuances in each jurisdiction.
Nobody has ever focused on consumer and motoring matters including Data Protection and Freedom of Information (‘FOI’) in the Isle of Man on this scale until now, so I was delighted with this feature.
I have since been featured in the Hexham Courant, Daily Mail, Edinburgh Evening News and BBC Radio Scotland for campaigns and features that affect motorists and consumers to raise awareness of consumer rights, how to complain effectively and seek redress.
