This makes for an interesting read here for those that think parking tickets issued on private land can be ignored, especially in Scotland.

If you are having a bad day, spare a thought for this individual!

It is a common myth that private parking charge notices can be ignored as they are not parking fines, per se, especially in Scotland.

However, by parking on private land you are entering in to a contract with the landowner or car park operator and these invoices are enforceable provided sufficient warning is given in the signage.

I cover these scenarios with templates and contacts to successfully contest these invoices (disguised as parking tickets), which are enforceable through the Courts and seen as a breach of contract complete with templates based on real-life test cases that work now on sale via Amazon as an e-book and paperback priced £2.99 / £7.99.
